  • I've signed up whats next?

    Depending on the type of account you signed up for. We have 4 types. Card holder, administrator, corporate body and training partner - each have their own dashboard and accounts settings page.

    From here you can perform any number of functions.. Full members with smart devices can begin uploading and storing their education and training data and trainers and your employer will carry on building on that automatcially.

  • Why are there multiple memberships?

    We offer bulk discounts for bulk purchases. Typically for corporate entities. And even then, our entry level price is cheaper than every other individual card scheme available. With many more features.

    For corporate bodies we also have available branded devices. Speak to us about that

  • It says Free Account, whats that.

    We'll store your own and your staff training records securely for free, that's no secret. No purchase necessary. We'll also provide you and anyone you authorise access to those records on demand. To do that go to the NTC website and enter the long card number displayed on the front. Full members get instant access with smart devices.

  • What do you offer for businesses?

    This is really what NTC was designed for in the first place. Early adopters report complete satsfaction. We'll help you manage your entire staff training records, we'll store them and make them available through a tap on a smart device. We'll take away that perpetual niggle surrounding the management of staff training records. You can even store your own and get reminded when they expire, you control it all from your NTC dashboard.   • I bought full membership, what now?

    We'll keep you in the loop regarding your devices and when you'll likely receive them. Please note, before we can begin making your personalised smart devices you will need to give us the basic information of yourself and/or any users. That needs to happen first. Simply login and follow the instructions. During that time you can still add training records.

  • How do educators upload records?

    Thousands of UK training providers already have an account. When you conduct training with them, in nine times out of ten they need your national insurance number for their own registration. And thats the common denominator. They cannot see any of your account info, but they can upload newly acquired accreditation onto a card holders account.

  • How do i get my staff the smart devices?

    Probably our most commonest request. Buying memberships for 10 or more, or 100 or more users comes with a discounted price. For very large clients we also offer a branded smart device solution. Every user is controlled by you, simply and efficiently from within your dashboard. Your powerful, yet minimilist account gives you complete access.

  • Do I get to keep my account if I change jobs?

    The short answer to this is yes. Our GDPR and privacy policies explain all of what we promise to you. We are obliged to give you, the card holder complete autonomy over your account with us. If you decide to move your account then we will help facilitate that. A nominal fee maybe required

  • Can I resell the National Training Card?

    Yes and no. Whilst we do not currently offer an affiliate scheme to non-trainers, our training partners are able to purchase memberships at a reduced rate and sell those onto end users or their own clients.

  • What are these FAQs?

    National Training Card is a site with multiple stakeholders. Card holders, those who manage training for others and educators - all of whom have a separate account. Our job is linking them all together and making training records easily accessible.

  • What records can I store in my account?

    The short answer to this is - anything.. Any type of education or training you've achieved and would like us to either look after on your behalf or present to those you give access to on demand.

    From GCSE's to NVQs, professional qualifications to in-company training, we'll encrypt your records, store them on our server and give you access whenever you need them.

  • How Much Does It Cost?

    You can join and get a National Training Card account for free. We'll still look after records indefinitely. There's no cost to that.

    Full membership is around the same price as a round of drinks, discounted for bulk purchases and is strongly recommended. With full membership you get a full set of smart devices and instant retrieval by a mobile phone.

  • Can I delete my account?

    Depends on the type of account. Things changes, we appreciate that. If you're a card holder and want to disconnect yourself to your upstream administrator, perhaps because you're left that organisation, then that's fine. That option is provided in your account.

    Administrators and educators are more likely to want to change the individual administrating the account. In those instances you need merely to contact us.

  • How do I sign up?

    Signing up is a doddle. First make sure you're signing up for the correct account, card holder (administrating themselves), adminstrator or educator.

    We'll require you to validate your account through email and set up a password and then you'll be good to go

  • What types of membership are there?

    Memberships for card holders are as follows: basic, free and full. Basic is for those who have conducted training with a bonafide trainer and not yet confirmed their NTC account, Free are those that want us to look after training records without smart devices and full members get the full package of features

  • How does it work?

    Very simply put. You, your employer and thousands of educators in the UK upload training and education records onto a user's NTC account. And we store them indefinitely.

    After that, whenever an NTC device is called on to present training records, that's exactly what we'll do.

  • How do I get a set of smart devices?

    You can buy a set of smart devices or extra devices for yourself, or on behalf of your card holders. We offer bulk purchase discounts in a sliding scale starting at 10 full members. All of this can be done online, but you can of course call us if there's any confusion.

    Members that buy more than 100 memberships can talk to us about branding their NTC cards with their own livery

  • Who operates this card scheme?

    National Training Card is operated by 1Plus Media Group Ltd, a UK limited company that has already built many other well known digital platforms.

  • How does this scheme differ from others?

    Multiple number of huge fundamentals. NTC is impartial and not restrictive over the type of records we hold. We embrace the very latest technology and will continue to. We span multiple industries. The devices are secure and professionally produced. User accounts are collaborative. The environment being paramount, our devices never need replacing.

  • What phones work with the devices?

    All new mobiles work out the box without requiring any software. Older models of android all work just the same. iPhone models before and including the iPhone 10 require an NFC app available from the app store. Apple have announced all future models of the iphone will have the software installed by default
